How We Operate
We started our family, first responder owned butcher delivery service back in March of 2020. What started as serving Police and Fire departments in the Will County and Kendall County areas turned into a growing business. We then started to deliver to homes and expanded our delivery areas.
Our family owns a USDA inspected wholesale company located in downtown Chicago that has been open for the last 29 years. Our family's business serves restaurants, banquets, golf courses, local butcher shops and casinos in Illinois. They are not open to the public, so that is where we stepped in and starting doing home deliveries three years ago.
We deliver twice a month, every other Thursday. Our order deadline is the Sunday before delivery. Orders then get freshly cut and vacuum sealed Tuesday and Wednesday. We then text our customers the day before delivery (Wednesday) with a 2 hour time window for delivery and their total. Payment is taken upon delivery, cash, check (made out to Martinelli Meats) or Zelle (only if you have Chase). We do not accept credit card, venmo, paypal or any other payment options.
