To cook mild Italian sausage links, start by thawing them if frozen. For stovetop cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil. Place the sausages in the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, for about 12-15 minutes until browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). Alternatively, you can bake them in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through. Let the sausages rest a few minutes before serving to retain their juices and flavor.
